Cairns Lounge Developments
A new Qantas Club lounge is due to open at Cairns domestic airport in December as part of a broader redevelopment of the domestic terminal. To make way for these new developments, the existing Qantas Club lounge will close from 19 October 2009. Qantas Club members and eligible Frequent Flyers should see staff at the Cairns Airport Service Desk for updates to alternative arrangements. |

The fourth Qantas A380 joined the fleet on 7 September 2009, resulting in increased flight frequency on several international routes. Sydney-Los Angeles increases to 4 per week, Sydney-London increases to 5 per week and Melbourne-Los Angeles increases to 3 per week. |
